Garter Stitch

Hello, Today I am going to teach you how to do the garter stitch and a rhyme to help you. Here is the rhyme, through the front door, around the back, in through the window, off jumps Jack. The needle in your left hand should be the one with the stitches on and the other hand should have the other needle in it. Push the right needle into the first loop on the left needle. Take the string but make sure that it is not the tail. With the string, wrap it around the back of the right needle and hold it in your right hand or your left hand. After that, pull the right needle back but slowly and you will see a type of window like in the rhyme. Next, go through the window and go to the top of the left needle and pull the stitch off. Once you have done that repeat it until you finish the row. Then do the same thing. However, it will be harder on the first and last stitches.
